More than a recording of a concert — a film to sit down with and enjoy, from the first dance to the last.
At a live show, the little pauses between performances give us time to breathe, enjoy what we have just seen and get ready for the next dance. In an edit, it is easy to cut those moments away. But when one number follows another without a break, I find it hard to take everything in.
So, for the TODES Dubai annual concert, I placed short interviews between the performances. These small conversations give the film a warmer, more personal rhythm — a moment to meet the people behind the show, smile, take a breath and enjoy the next dance.
