A documentary sketch from a year of filming at Moscow State University’s White Sea Biological Station.
For roughly one week each month, we travelled to the White Sea to film the station, its scientists and the life around them. We joined researchers aboard different ships and followed their expeditions, trying to capture the atmosphere of this extraordinary place.
It remains one of the most fantastic projects I have been part of — a whole year of returning to the sea, meeting its people and discovering its changing moods.
